Job summary

Central Bucks School District seeks a Special Education Assistant - Instructional at Barclay Elementary School for the 2026/2027 school year. This part-time position is up to 29.9 hours per week with compensation of $20.84 per hour, plus a $1.25 per hour enhancement for student toileting duties when required.

You will work under a professional staff member to support students’ IEP goals in both special education/learning support and regular education settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years college coursework or an Associate Degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required at time of hire.
• Must work as a team member and communicate effectively with students and adults.

Responsibilities

• Support student(s) IEP goals in special education and regular education settings.
• Assist with daily tasks and classroom activities under supervision.
• Follow guidance from professional staff and prioritize tasks.
