Job summary

Pearland ISD is seeking a PARA-CAMPUS/AIDE PEARS to assist the special education teacher in preparing classroom activities and managing the instructional needs of students with disabilities. You will support program implementation, including self-help and behavior management, under the supervision of a certified teacher.

Two years of experience with children is preferred. A Texas Educational Aide Certificate can be obtained after hire, and the role involves light to moderate lifting and daily

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with children.
• Must have completed at least two years of college or hold an associate degree or higher; or meet a state/local academic standard.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (can be obtained after hire).
• Knowledge of office and technology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the special education teacher in preparing and managing classroom activities.
• Support in implementing classroom programs, including self-help and behavior management.
• Collect data and assist with instruction under supervision of a certified teacher.
