Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of college credits, or a college degree, or pass the ParaPro Praxis Assessment (457+) or Idaho Paraprofessional Testing Alternative (75%+).
• Idaho Paraprofessional Testing Alternative dates offered; test must be passed within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education teachers in the program and with IEPs.
• Prepare lesson materials and adapt presentations for students.
• Assist with testing, tutoring, and providing individual or small-group support.
• Support students with socialization, personal care, medications, and related tasks as needed.
• Supervise students during activities and help with classroom management and documentation.
