Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college or other advanced education preferred.

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and district policies.
• Experience with special needs children preferred or any equivalent combo of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education teachers in Resource Rooms, ERR, PBI, ECSE, and Tuition Kindergarten programs.
• Assist in implementing IEPs and preparing, modifying, and adapting materials.
• Support student instruction, tutoring, and classroom management.
• Perform clerical duties, maintain records and reports, and assist in supervision on field trips and activities.
• Follow safety practices and maintain a clean, orderly classroom environment.
