Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree or higher from an accredited college, or minimum 48 college credit hours, or high school diploma with passing Work-Keys test as determined by Mississippi Department of Education.
• Other Requirements: CDL, any additional qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assists teacher in daily and long-range lesson and classroom activity planning.
• Conducts learning exercises with small groups of children.
• Guides children in working and playing harmoniously with other children.
• Assists teacher in maintaining neat work and study areas.
• Participates in staff development to assist teachers with district initiatives.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows policies and procedures.
