Job summary

Pearland ISD is seeking an Education Aide to support a special education classroom. You will assist in preparing materials, helping students with activities, and recording progress under the supervision of a certified teacher.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas Educational Aide Certificate (noted may be obtained after hire).
• Associate's degree or two years of college completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the special education teacher in preparing and managing classroom activities.
• Assist in implementing classroom programs including self-help, behavior management, data collection, and instruction.
• Work under the supervision of the principal and a certified teacher.
