Job summary

Woodville ISD is seeking a part-time paraprofessional to support classroom instruction at Woodville High School. This 20-hour-per-week position requires a HS diploma or GED and may require additional paraprofessional training. The ideal candidate will work with students, including those with disabilities, and assist with routine classroom duties.

Preference given to those with prior experience with children and the ability to communicate effectively. Deadline: Until Filled.

• Associate’s Degree or 48 hours of college coursework or complete approved paraprofessional training course.
• Experience preferred with children.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to work with children and/or children with disabilities
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Knowledge of general office equipment

Experience: Prefer some experience working with children
