Job summary

Precision HR in Massachusetts is hiring licensed Special Education Teachers to join multiple school communities in Waltham. We have 9 openings serving elementary through high school levels, including behavioral and autism programs.

Full-time roles offer competitive pay up to $65/hr, based on experience, with standard Monday–Friday hours 7:30 AM–2:45 PM. MA DESE eligibility and a strong foundation in IEPs are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Teaching License with Special Education (Moderate Disabilities) certification.
• Eligible to teach in MA through DESE.
• Master's Degree and SEI endorsement.
• Experience in inclusion or special needs classrooms.
• Designs and delivers individualized instruction for students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of MA Special Education laws and IEP development.
• Classroom experience Monday-Friday, structured setting.
• Experience with students who are nonverbal, on the autism spectrum, prone to tantrums, runners, or wheelchairbound preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instruction and IEPs.
• Monitor and assess student progress and behavior.
• Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families.
• Support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional growth.

YOUR IMPACT

The Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support across a variety of programs within Waltham Public Schools. We currently have 9 openings serving students from elementary through high school, including substantially separate behavioral and autism programs, an 1822 transition program, and middle and high school positions.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized instruction and IEPs, monitoring and assessing student progress, and collaborating with educators, related service providers, and families to support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional growth.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Valid Massachusetts Teaching License with Special Education (Moderate Disabilities) certification
