Schedule/Grade Level:

First/1st Classroom: Moderate 6-8 grade Full-Time Mon-Fri 7:15-1:50

Second/2nd Classroom: Moderate Prek-5 8:20am-3:00pm

Pay: Up to $65/hour, based on experience

Program: Therapeutic program/ Therapeutic Learning Center (TLC) program, a full-inclusion program for students with emotional disabilities. For our TLC role specifically, we are looking to bring someone on board to overlap with the teacher who is taking the leave to ensure a smooth transition, with a start date of November 30th at the latest, and possibly sooner. The program is co-run by a social worker, which will also support a smooth transition.

YOUR IMPACT

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Valid Massachusetts teaching license with Special Education certification in Moderate Disabilities; Severe * Disabilities certification preferred.
• Eligibility to teach in Massachusetts through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
• Master's degree and SEI endorsement.
• Experience working in special education, inclusion, or substantially separate classroom settings.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts special education regulations and IEP development.
• Experience designing and delivering individualized instruction for students with disabilities.
• Ability to work a structured, full-time, Monday-Friday schedule.
