Qualificações

• Massachusetts Educators License as a Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities, Grades PK-8 or 5-12.
• Commitment to improving instruction through collaboration, best practices and regular assessments.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide specially designed instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics aligned with grade-level standards and student needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessments to ensure student access to grade-level content.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles, abilities, and goals of students.
• Communicate consistently with families regarding student progress, goals, and strategies for support at home.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, related service providers, instructional aides and other support staff to support students.
• Facilitate IEP Team meetings and develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Utilize data collection and progress monitoring tools to inform instruction and measure student growth.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment that promotes student independence and self-advocacy.
