Qualifications

• Eligible to be issued Missouri Substitute Teacher’s Certificate by documentation of 60 semester hours from an accredited college or university.
• Missouri Teaching Certificate is required or obtainable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities using the MSSD curriculum.
• Analyze learning styles and adapt teaching strategies to meet students’ needs.
• Conduct IEP team and special education meetings.
• Coordinate behavioral support/intervention plans for students with challenging behaviors.
• Develop daily schedules for implementing students’ IEPs.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure a safe learning environment.
