Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Passing Kentucky Para-educator Assessment or 48 college hours.
• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• Criminal background check required by state law and district policy.
• Demonstrates competent language skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students and assist in documenting pupil progress.
• Assist in preparation and organization of materials and equipment.
• Support large-group instruction and behavior management as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with administering health services to students as necessary.
