Daviess County High School in Owensboro, Kentucky seeks an Instructional Assistant II for Special Education to support students with diverse needs and assist teachers with instructional and classroom management duties. The role is full-time, 181 contracted days, 7 hours per day, with compensation commensurate with the DCPS salary schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates Degree or 48 college credits acceptable.
• Pass a state approved test is required.
• Capable of working with students with various exceptionalities.

Responsabilités

• Assist teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks.
• Conduct community-based and classroom activities under supervision.
• Support in adaptive physical education and motor activities as needed.
• Tutor students individually and in small groups.
• Assist with classroom assessments and instructional planning.
