Job summary

Minimum qualifications include an associate degree or 48 credits, or passing MA assessments; strong interpersonal skills; ability to lift up to 20 lbs; experience with special needs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required or;
• At least two years of post-secondary education (48 credits) or;
• Massachusetts-endorsed Parapro or WorkKeys assessment required or demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with special needs in academics, social, and behavioral areas.
• Support classroom teacher with implementing educational plans and strategies.
• Ensure student safety across all school settings.
• Maintain and improve records and participate in meetings and professional development.
• Communicate with parents and staff to support student progress.
