Job summary

Ro Health is hiring a qualified Behavior Technician/RBT to work in Belmont, CA for the 25-26 school year. The role focuses on providing behavioral support in a school setting, leveraging Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with students from pre-K to high school.

Experience with special needs and 1:1 or small-group support is a plus. You may serve as a 1:1 student support in classrooms or assist a teacher with general classroom coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare and/or ABA.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
• Strong assessment skills are desirable.
• Passion for supporting students in the learning process.
• Inclination to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing support either in a 1:1 or general capacity.
• Calm, clear, and concise communication with both children and adults.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds).
