Job summary

Qualifications

• Meet Highly Qualified status per Oregon ORS 581-037-0006; documentation must accompany application.
• Official/unofficial transcripts showing 2 years of post-secondary study (72 quarter credit hours or 48 semester credits).
• Associates or higher degree (attach diploma) and meeting a rigorous standard of testing demonstrating knowledge of reading, writing and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing educational and behavioral management programs for students with developmental or other learning disabilities and provide services to enable access to education.
• Perform clerical tasks in support of the educational process and instructional assistance to the teacher, monitor student progress with periodic testing and evaluation.
• Prepare lessons, review content, and provide tutoring one-to-one or in small groups as needed.
