Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Special Care Nursery on the night shift in Elmhurst, IL. You will deliver professional nursing care, assess patient status, and coordinate with the care team to meet unit goals.

Requirements include an RN license in Illinois, BLS, and NRP within six months; BSN planned within five years if ADN held; NICU Level 3 experience preferred. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in nursing; if ADN, BSN must be pursued within five years of start date.
• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• NRP certification within six months of start date; NICU Level 3 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assesses patients, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress and records observations.
• Delegates appropriate tasks to other staff and collaborates with the unit team.
• Functions as a team member to achieve unit goals; adapt duties by shift.
