Job summary

Singular Genomics Systems, Inc. seeks a Spatial Sequencing Associate 2 to support engineers and scientists in running customer tissue samples on the G4X Spatial Sequencer. The role requires experience with DNA/RNA handling, immunoassays, and sequencing workflows.

You will guide assay developers, optimize workflows, and ensure robustness. Responsibilities include operating the G4X sequencer, preparing samples, loading consumables, performing initial data analyses, and maintaining instrument

Qualifications

• BS in a Science or Engineering field or 5 years of working experience in equivalent field.
• Strong molecular biology laboratory skills, demonstrated by work experience.
• Hands-on experience with multiplexed and immunoassay workflows (required).
• Familiarity with immunoassays and fluorescence readouts.
• Experience with running, maintaining, and troubleshooting lab equipment.
• Desire to work in a small interdisciplinary team to develop new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Execute experiments to characterize antibody activity using immunofluorescence or IHC across diverse tissue types and conditions.
• Support antibody validation efforts using molecular biology techniques (e.g. SDS-PAGE), immunoassays, and/or G4X spatial biology assay across various tissue types.
• Day-to-day operation of the G4X sequencer, including sample preparation and sequencing runs.
• Perform primary analysis of run data and contribute to data documentation and logbooks.
• Contribute to late-stage optimization of spatial biology workflows for product readiness.
