Job summary

Stellaromics, Inc. in Boston, MA, seeks a hands-on Scientist to join the Lab Services team to develop and deliver new 3D spatial biology applications across diverse tissues and sample types.

You will translate customer research objectives into well-designed studies, execute tissue workflows, analyze multimodal spatial data, and communicate results and recommendations directly to academic and biopharma customers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with tissue-based molecular assays and spatial biology workflows.
• Experience designing customer studies from intake through data delivery.
• Strong ability to translate research objectives into actionable studies and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize 3D spatial biology applications across tissues and sample types.
• Design and execute customer studies from intake to data delivery including tissue prep and imaging.
• Interact with academic and biopharma customers to define scope, present results and propose next steps.
• Troubleshoot tissue-specific workflows to improve RNA quality, morphology, staining, and imaging.
• Interpret biochemical, imaging, spatial transcriptomics, and IHC data; summarize findings for reports and presentations.
• Develop protocols and study reports to support reliable internal execution and customer adoption.
• Collaborate with Lab Services, Assay R&D, Bioinformatics, Field Applications and Commercial teams to transfer methods.
• Manage multiple projects with accurate records, timelines, risks, and results.
