This customer‑facing role will develop and deliver new applications for 3D spatial biology across diverse tissues and sample types. The Scientist will translate customer research objectives into well‑designed studies, execute and troubleshoot tissue workflows, analyze multimodal spatial data, and communicate results and recommendations directly to academic and biopharma customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize new 3D spatial biology applications for a broad range of tissues and sample types, including fresh frozen, FFPE, fixed, and other customer‑relevant specimens.
  • Design and execute customer studies from intake through data delivery, including feasibility assessment, experimental design, tissue preparation, assay execution, imaging, quality control, data analysis, and interpretation.
  • Interact directly with academic and biopharma customers to understand research objectives, define project scope and success criteria, provide technical guidance, present results, and recommend next steps.
  • Adapt and troubleshoot tissue‑specific workflows and assay conditions to improve RNA quality, morphology preservation, staining performance, imaging quality, sensitivity, and reproducibility.
  • Evaluate and interpret biochemical, imaging, 3D spatial transcriptomics, immunofluorescence/IHC, and H&E data; summarize findings in clear technical reports and customer presentations.
  • Develop and maintain protocols, work instructions, application notes, and study reports that support reliable internal execution and customer adoption.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Lab Services Operations, Assay R&D, Bioinformatics, Field Applications, and Commercial teams to incorporate customer feedback and transfer successful methods into repeatable service offerings.
  • Manage multiple customer projects, maintain accurate experimental records, and communicate timelines, risks, and results proactively.
  • Follow laboratory safety and quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of Lab Services workflows.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management.
Qualifications:
