Responsibilities include designing and maintaining datalake pipelines with Spark, Scala and SQL, orchestrating workflows with Control-M and Airflow, and delivering production-ready data solutions for Market Risk use cases. Remote within Spain.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in backend development within big data environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spark, Scala and SQL.
• Experience with data lakes, data quality, and production pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain datalake pipelines using Spark, Scala and SQL.
• Orchestrate batch workflows with Control-M and Airflow.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, validation and publication for Market Risk use cases.
• Optimize Spark-based workloads for performance, reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with agile squads and production support to deliver business value.
• Provide incident support and drive continuous improvement.
