Job summary

Air Products in Allentown, PA is seeking a Materials Management Provisioning Analyst to manage spare parts provisioning for North and South America, using SAP to build and maintain BOMs and run sparing strategies.

You'll collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Project teams, forecast budgets, develop safety stock, and support cost reductions while ensuring uptime and reliability of plant operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, or related fields.
• B.S. in an engineering discipline or related subject area.
• Working knowledge of SAP and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment lists, and vendor documentation.
• Inventory management and supply chain knowledge.
• Cross-functional collaboration and project management.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead provisioning kickoff meetings with project stakeholders to establish scope, deliverables, schedules, and spare parts requirements.
• Review equipment documentation and apply sparing philosophies to identify required spare parts.
• Coordinate material master creation and extension process, including requests for new material numbers.
• Develop, maintain, and validate equipment spare parts BOMs in SAP for project assets.
• Monitor, track, and forecast project spare parts budgets and completion status.
• Support spare parts estimating activities with cross-functional teams.
• Establish initial safety stock for new plants by evaluating criticality and sparing strategies.
• Identify opportunities to leverage existing inventory across facilities to reduce costs.
• Participate in on-call rotation ~3-4 times per year.
