Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. in Allentown, PA is seeking a Materials Management Provisioning Analyst to manage spare parts provisioning for major projects across the Americas, ensuring timely procurement and cost-effective stocking to support safe plant operations.

You will develop and maintain SAP BOMs, determine spare parts requirements, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Projects to optimize inventory and budgeting. Weekend on-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in materials management, procurement, or related fields.
• B.S. in an engineering discipline or related subject area.
• Working knowledge of SAP and the ability to navigate standard transactions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment lists, and vendor documentation.
• Inventory management and supply chain knowledge.
• Cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect equipment data to develop and maintain BOMs in SAP.
• Determine spare parts requirements and stocking quantities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure requirements are incorporated into provisioning strategies.
• Support the development of spare parts cost estimates for new projects.
• Lead provisioning kickoff meetings with project stakeholders to establish scope and schedules.
• Review equipment documentation to identify required spare parts.
• Coordinate the material master creation and extension process.
• Develop, maintain, and validate equipment spare parts BOMs in SAP.
• Monitor project spare parts budgets and completion status.
• Establish initial safety stock for new plants by evaluating criticality and sparing strategies.
• Identify opportunities to leverage existing inventory to reduce costs.
• Participate in on-call rotation during weekends/holidays.
