Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Spare Parts Inventory Manager in our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team in Boston, MA. You will lead global parts strategy, optimize stock allocation across sites, and drive data-driven improvements to minimize costs and maximize operational efficiency.

You will analyze complex data, present reports to senior leadership, and spearhead cross-functional projects across tech and non-tech teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup) at an advanced level and SQL.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global strategy for spare parts inventory management.
• Drive initiatives to ensure availability of spare parts at the right locations, minimizing costs while maximizing operations efficiency.
• Support development and execution of nodal spare parts strategy, defining stock reallocation across sites.
• Carry out data analysis and interpret reports to identify opportunities, optimize processes, and implement changes.
• Lead and champion complex cross-functional process improvement projects.
• Define projects to optimize current inventory management standards and processes.
• Drive initiatives to deprecate redundant workflows and simplify processes with global impact.
• Innovate and implement best practices to enhance tracking of spare parts for accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify and implement success metrics to supervise spare parts management initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver data-driven business reviews to senior management.
• Drive communication from RME and Operations senior management.
