Spanish Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Organizing events where students can showcase their Spanish language skills.

  • Participate in regular professional development activities to stay current with best practices and innovation in language education.
  • Serve as an advisor for a group of students, offering support, mentorship, and guidance to help them thrive academically and personally.
Spanish Teacher Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Education, or related required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven written and verbal proficiency in Spanish.
  • 2-3 years of previous K-12 teaching experience.
  • No teaching license or credential is required.
  • Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, dependable, and eager to contribute to the school community.
Additional Desired Qualities:
  • Knowledge of ACTFL standards preferred.
  • Willingness to assist with extracurricular and school community activities.
