Job summary

PAX Health is seeking a Spanish-speaking Remote Therapist (LSW or LAC) to deliver evidence-based clinical services in a fully remote NJ setting. You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual, group, and family therapies.

Responsibilities include intake review, progress monitoring, discharge planning, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Spanish speaking required.
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Active and unrestricted provisional license (e.g., LSW, LAC, or equivalent).
• Working toward independent clinical licensure under supervision.
• Foundational clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and interventions.
• Interest in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, or similar approaches.
• Experience with diverse populations and mental health conditions preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to professional growth, supervision, and ongoing learning.
• LCADC or CADC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review intake referrals and respond promptly.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and support diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans per licensure level.
• Provide direct clinical services (individual, group, family, couples).
• Maintain an active caseload aligned with licensure.
• Manage treatment planning and clinical decisions when fully licensed.
• Participate in supervision as required by licensure.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches.
• Support discharge and aftercare planning for continuity of care.
• Provide case management and coordinate referrals to resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Coordinate services across providers and disciplines.
• Collaborate with prescribers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development.
