Job summary

Planned Parenthood Northern California (PPNorCal) in Redding, CA is seeking a bilingual Registration Specialist (Spanish) to manage front desk operations, verify insurance, register patients, collect payments, and schedule appointments.

This full-time role requires strong customer service, data entry into Epic EPM/EHR, and the ability to travel between regional health centers. A two-year degree or equivalent and knowledge of insurance plans are preferred; bilingualism is highly desired.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or related experience.
• Experience in receptionist or office environment preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance plans preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a busy health-center setting.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out patients; schedule appointments; answer phones.
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist with registration and billing.
• Communicate wait times and assist patients with enrollment in programs.
• Maintain front desk operations and ensure privacy and accuracy of records.
