Job summary

Planned Parenthood Northern California (PPNorCal) is seeking a Reproductive Health Specialist (Medical Assistant) for our San Ramon Health Center. This full-time role supports patient flow, insurance verification, registration, and billing processes to ensure a positive visit experience.

The position requires an AA degree or equivalent, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with Epic EPM/EHR. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desired; travel between nearby centers may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desired.
• Experience in receptionist/office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and others at the health center.
• Check-in/check-out patients, schedule appointments, answer phones, and enter data into the Epic EPM/EHR system.
• Verify insurance, manage registrations, and assist with billing and payment collection.
