Job summary

Kinfolk ABA in Alexandria, VA is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home. You will implement BCBA-designed plans, collect progress data, and collaborate with families to support client success. A 40-hour ABA training and either current RBT certification or willingness to obtain are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the 40-hour ABA training course.
• Best to have, or be willing to obtain RBT certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment goals based on client needs and assessment findings.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards.
