Job summary

Universal Processing LLC (uP) in New York is seeking a Merchant Consultant fluent in Spanish. You will be the brand ambassador, generating leads, meeting prospects, and presenting payment solutions to clients.

The role offers a probationary monthly salary of $4,500, rising to $5,000 after successful completion, plus medical, vision, dental coverage, generous PTO, and a 401k. Uncapped commissions and bonuses are also available.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US; E-Verify employer.
• Bilingual Spanish is required.
• 2-3 years sales and/or customer service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, detail-oriented and analytical abilities.
• Able to work independently and driven by results.

Responsibilities

• Generates leads, cold-calls and prospects potential clients.
• Conducts in-person meetings to present payment, merchant financing and marketing solutions.
• Performs pricing analysis and initiates proposals accordingly.
• Follows up with potential merchants describing features and terms.
• Closes sales in a timely and effective manner.
• Navigates lead sources; develops new sources.
• Develops sales opportunities within existing client base.
• Builds and maintains referrals and affiliates relationships.
• Creates and develops marketing programs to increase sales.
