Our agency has developed a successful sales process, and we are seeking a sales professional who can leverage their skills and experience to contribute to our continued success.

About the Role

As a member of the Goodwill Financial Insurance team, your primary goal will be to drive growth in our life insurance and living benefits book of business. You will utilize our proven sales process and apply effective strategies daily, including reaching out to prospects who have expressed interest and actively seeking new opportunities to expand our reach.

This role focuses specifically on life and living benefits insurance opportunities, and you will have a significant impact on our business by successfully driving growth in this area. We seek a motivated, results-driven individual with excellent communication skills to help us achieve our goals and continue providing the best service to our clients.

Responsibilities

1. Cold calling over the phone and knocking on doors to offer and sell insurance.
2. Completing appropriate forms and inputting data into our software system after a sale.
3. Cultivating relationships and cross-selling additional insurance lines.
4. Networking at local Chamber mixers and other professional organizations.
5. Establishing new relationships with potential clients and signing them up for insurance.

Requirements

• Strong sales skills with experience in tracking, developing, following up, and closing leads.
• Excellent multitasking, organizational, and computer skills; proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with sales software; knowledge of Infusionsoft is a plus.
• Active Life Producer License.
• Spanish-speaking ability.
• 1 to 2 years of experience as a Customer Service Agent in the insurance industry.
