Job summary

Fenway Health is seeking a Bi-Lingual Outreach Specialist to conduct street and mobile outreach for active injection drug users in Cambridge, Boston, and Somerville. You will provide harm reduction education, naloxone trainings, and referrals to care in two languages as needed.

You will also conduct rapid HIV/HCV/STI testing, engage with community partners, and support program development under the supervision of the Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Spanish and able to provide interventions in two languages when necessary.
• Experience conducting street and mobile outreach with at-risk populations.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with data collection and entry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct street and mobile outreach to active drug users in high-need areas.
• Distribute safer injection supplies and provide harm reduction information.
• Provide rapid HIV testing and naloxone training to participants and partners.
• Assist in building partnerships with community organizations and funders.
