Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a Front Desk and Sales Associate to warmly welcome families and guide them through enrollment. This part-time, non-exempt role involves handling inquiries, making outbound sales calls, and assisting with merchandise while maintaining a tidy front desk area.

Spanish-speaking ability is preferred to support our Spanish-speaking customer base. Availability for mornings, daytime hours, and weekends is desired; CPR/First Aid/AED certifications are required after hire.

Qualifications

• Spanish language ability preferred to support our Spanish-speaking customer base.
• Natural communicator comfortable on the phone and in person.
• Experience in customer service or administrative tasks is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet every member and family warmly at check-in and make them feel welcomed.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and conduct outbound sales calls.
• Guide families through the student registration process using sales and customer service techniques.
• Handle customer concerns professionally with a solution-driven approach.
• Assist families with merchandise and vending purchases.
• Make calls to resolve open account issues with professionalism.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk, snack area, changing rooms, restrooms, and lobby.
• Enforce safety rules and administer first aid when necessary.
