Glenview Public School District 34 seeks a Spanish-speaking Multilingual EL Associate (Teacher Aide/Paraprofessional) for the 2026-27 year (K-2). You will support teachers, assist with lessons, monitor behavior, and help with assessments in a 10-month schedule.

The role requires a paraprofessional license or equivalent, and Spanish fluency is required. Training and benefits are provided by the district.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Experience working with children is helpful and demonstrates patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with daily lessons, projects and homework in literacy, ESL, remedial math, tech and special education.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate with classroom or special education teachers regularly.
• Document student progress and assist with reporting to parents or staff.
• Support in assessments and supervision during lunch, recess, or before/after school.
• May serve as a substitute teacher for full or half days as needed.
