Job summary

Charter Research in Orlando, FL is seeking a Patient Recruitment Associate to enroll study participants. You will use phone and in-person outreach to explain studies, screen inquiries, and schedule prescreen or screening visits, with a strong emphasis on patient experience and service.

The role requires fluency in Spanish (spoken and written) and prior experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality. You will maintain accurate data in Zoho and CRIO and coordinate with recruitment vendors

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Spanish, both spoken and written (Orlando, FL location only).
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, and/or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and provide an exceptional participant experience.
• Engage potential research participants by phone and in person to explain clinical research opportunities, answer questions, and schedule prescreen or screening appointments.
• Build trust and rapport through warm, respectful, and personalized interactions that help participants feel heard, valued, and supported.
• Match potential participants with the right clinical trial.
• Conduct phone and in-person screening activities to identify participant diagnoses and relevant inclusion and exclusion factors.
• Match prospective participants with appropriate current or upcoming studies based on their needs and preliminary eligibility.
• Deliver exceptional data quality and expand study awareness.
• Keep source documentation accurate, complete, and current in accordance with ALCOA-C standards, including documentation in Zoho, CRIO, and recruitment vendor portals.
• Drive enrollment volume and support site goals.
• Take ownership of participant inquiries from initial outreach through Completed Screen, ensuring all contact attempts, follow-up activities, status updates, and next steps are completed accurately and within established guidelines.
• Maintain a strong sense of urgency and accountability to schedule patient appointments and meet screening goals.
• Maintain a “One Team” approach to trial success; team members may be temporarily reassigned to patient engagement or clinic responsibilities to meet contractual obligations.
