Job summary

The Bilingual Specialist at Children’s Advocacy Center of Charlotte, Inc. supports our children and families through intake coordination and advocacy.

They ensure new cases are triaged promptly, coordinate forensic interview and medical appointments, and provide crisis intervention and caregiver support at case initiation. As part of the team, they participate in rotating after-hours coverage, assist families with referrals to community services, and maintain accurate case documentation while

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish) required.
• Bachelor of Social Work or related field.
• Two years’ experience in child welfare field.
• Master of Social Work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake coordination and advocacy for child abuse cases.
• Coordinate forensic interview/medical appointments and case initiation.
• Support caregivers during appointments and follow-up case coordination.
• Participate in rotating afterhours coverage, including some weekends and holidays.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team coordination and regular staff/ MDT meetings.
