Job summary

The Morgan Oliver School in Atlanta seeks a bilingual educator to teach Spanish immersion and hands-on science across K-8 and early care settings. This split-campus role blends MECC and MOS responsibilities to nurture language development and inquiry-based learning.

You'll support two-year-olds through middle schoolers, collaborate with lead teachers, and uphold the school's restorative, anti-racist approach while fostering curiosity and joy in every class.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish.
• Experience teaching young children (early childhood/immersion preferred).
• Background in science content for upper elementary/middle school.
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus.
• Familiarity with Reggio Emilia, Montessori, or similar approaches a plus.

Responsibilities

• MECC: Provide daily Spanish exposure for 2–4 year olds and collaborate with lead teachers to weave Spanish into daily routines.
• MOS: Teach Spanish to 2nd grade and up; upload year-long plans and weekly lesson plans.
• MOS: Science for upper grades; design hands-on, inquiry-based units and differentiate instruction.
• Communicate positively, manage behavior, and provide coverage as needed.
• Participate in PD, weekly check-ins, and regular guidance meetings.
