Responsibilities

• Demonstrate native or near native fluency in Spanish and implement Total Physical Response (TPR) methodologies for immersion learning.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials; provide individualized and small group instruction aligned to the District curriculum.
• Translate lesson plans into developmentally appropriate experiences for students.
• Establish and maintain classroom behavior standards to create an effective learning atmosphere.
• Evaluate pupils' academic and social growth, maintain records, and prepare progress reports.
• Identify pupil needs and refer for appropriate supports and develop IEP strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents via Schoology, newsletters, calls, emails, and conferences.
