Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking Spanish on-site contract interpreters in the St. Cloud, MN area to facilitate accurate and meaningful communication across healthcare, education, and other settings.

Interpreters must have professional experience, be proficient in English and Spanish, and complete credentialing evaluations as required. Independent contractors may travel to assignments and must meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have professional interpreting experience (1+ year).
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Completion of interpreting evaluations or credentials as applicable.
• Ability to meet health/immunization requirements per client/site.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish at onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an assignment.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols (HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA).
• Maintain professional interactions with clients and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge for assignments.
