Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking Spanish language interpreters for on-site assignments in the St. Cloud, MN area. The role involves consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish for healthcare, education, and other settings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to provide consecutive interpretation and travel to onsite assignments.
• Successful completion of language proficiency evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with applicable Propio and client requirements relating to interpreter ethics, confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data-protection requirements applicable to each assignment, including HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and applicable client requirements.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, patients, customers, visitors, healthcare professionals, and other participants.
• Maintain professional language proficiency, terminology, and subject-matter knowledge necessary to perform accepted assignments accurately and professionally.
