Qualifications

• Must be professional proficient in English and Spanish.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One or more years of professional interpreting experience.
• Ability to reliably travel to onsite assignments.
• Background checks and immunization requirements may apply as required by client/site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow applicable interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols as applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and client requirements.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, patients, customers, visitors, healthcare professionals, and other participants.
• Maintain professional language proficiency, terminology, and subject-matter knowledge.
