Intermountain Health is seeking a PRN Medical Interpreter to provide consecutive, simultaneous, and sight translation across Salt Lake Valley hospitals and clinics, including virtual services. You will handle complex medical information with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.

The role requires professional proficiency (ILR Level 3 or equivalent), completion of a 40-hour interpreter course, and the ability to travel between care sites and cover variable shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays).

Competenze

• Excellent command of both source and target languages with professional proficiency level ILR 3.
• Pre-hire skills assessment completed and satisfactory.
• Ability to perform consecutive, simultaneous, and sight translation with high accuracy.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulations and ethics.
