• Implements district curriculum.
• Uses ongoing student assessment data to drive instruction.
• Plans instruction to achieve teacher and district objectives, and implements those objectives effectively.
• Uses a variety of effective teaching techniques and materials; demonstrates knowledge of subject matter.
• Communicates effectively with students.
• Motivates students effectively, and provides for individual differences.
• Monitors students’ understanding and adjusts teaching when appropriate.
• Provides evaluative feedback on student performance.
• Is available for out-of-class assistance.
• Establishes a safe and orderly classroom conducive to learning.
