Qualifikationen

• Minimum one (1) year of experience interpreting in a judicial environment.
• Legal ability to work in the U.S.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with formal, consultative, and casual vocabulary in justice contexts.
• Knowledge of English/Spanish legal and criminal justice terminology.

Aufgaben

• Provides consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between Spanish and English.
• Provides over-the-phone and video remote interpreting for LEP individuals as required.
• Performs sight translation of documents in one language to another.
• Reviews translated documents for quality control when needed.
• Performs other duties as required.
