Job summary

SOSi in Tucson, AZ seeks qualified Spanish interpreters to support a call/contact center style environment, providing interpretation services between Spanish and English and vice versa. This includes over-the-phone and video remote interpreting for LEP individuals as required.

Responsibilities include consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, sight translation of documents, quality control of translations, and other duties as needed. Full-time, shift-based, on-site work.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of experience interpreting in a judicial environment.
• Legal ability to work in the U.S.
• Highly proficient in English and Spanish vocabularies used in justice system contexts.

Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between Spanish and English and vice versa.
• Provide over-the-phone and video remote interpreting for LEP individuals as required.
• Perform sight translation of written documents.
• Provide quality control review of translated documents as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
