Job summary

Tierra Encantada, headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, is a leader in Spanish immersion early education for children 6 weeks to 6 years old. We are hiring a Classroom Assistant in one of our Pre-K classrooms, to support teachers in delivering engaging, play-based learning.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with a starting pay between $17.00 and $19.00 per hour depending on education and experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Spanish.
• Experience in early childhood education preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact with families and staff.
• Must complete pediatric first aid and CPR within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun and welcoming environment for all children.
• Develop daily activities aligned with curriculum and objectives.
• Oversee classroom operations and decor, ensure cleanliness.
• Assess each child's developmental needs through observations.
• Implement Tierra Encantada's curriculum and lesson plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and leadership for parent conferences.
