Job summary

Tierra Encantada Rochester is hiring a Teacher for a Pre-K classroom in our Spanish immersion program. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday with the schedules 7:30am–4:30pm or 8:15am–5:15pm, depending on shift, and the starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour.

Candidates must meet Minnesota teacher qualifications (CDA or 60/90 credits), have 1 year of Early Childhood Education experience, CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 90 days, and commit to ongoing training and

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years or older.
• Minnesota teacher qualification per statute 9503.0032.
• 1 year of experience in Early Childhood Education.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun and welcoming environment for all children.
• Develop daily activities to support curriculum and educational objectives.
• Oversee daily classroom operations including scheduled activities, curriculum, and cleanliness.
• Assess each child's developmental needs through observations.
• Implement Tierra Encantada's curriculum and lesson plans.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership for parent conferences.
