Tierra Encantada seeks a dedicated Float to support classrooms in Overland Park, KS. This Full-Time, nonexempt role covers classroom coverage, cleaning, and kitchen assistance, ensuring smooth center operations and a positive learning environment.

Fluency in Spanish is required; CDA, food handling, CPR/First Aid certs are preferred. We value teamwork, safety, and engaging activities for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Spanish.
• Strong communication skills with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with center operations including breaks, coverage, cleaning, and kitchen support.
• Adapt quickly to multiple classrooms and teaching styles as needed.
• Assist in implementing the curriculum and maintain a developmentally appropriate environment.
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere for every child.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; communicate openly with teachers and leadership.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in training and professional development.
