Language Link, in collaboration with our affiliate Law Linguists Translation, is expanding our pool of skilled Desktop Publishing (DTP) professionals. We’re seeking experienced specialists to support our legal-focused translation projects on an ongoing basis.

About Us:
Language Link is headquartered in Vancouver, WA, but we work with interpreters and translators globally. Our services span over 240 languages and dialects, and we’re proud to support both our clients and our team of independent contractors in meaningful, fulfilling work.

DTP Specialists are responsible for formatting translated documents to match the source layout, ensuring professional and accurate delivery to our clients. Tasks include:

• Performing side-by-side checks of source and target files to ensure:
• No translated text is hidden, missing, or dropped;
• Matching line breaks and paragraph structures;
• Tables are properly formatted with accurate row/column structure;
• Headers and footnotes are automated and correctly placed;
• Indexes (if present) point to the correct pages;
• Formatting (font, style, spacing, etc.) matches the source;

Subject Matter: Legal/Financial translations (e.g., annual reports, governance documents).

Small/urgent tasks: a few hours to 1 business day;

Large files: typically 2–3 business days;

Availability check is conducted in advance when possible.

Availability during EU working hours is a must;

Responsive to communications and able to meet short-notice deadlines;

Access to and proficiency with InDesign and Microsoft Office;
