Reporting to the General Education and Developmental Studies Department, the instructor will contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and student success while maintaining current knowledge of educational trends.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in the qualifying field or a master’s degree with eighteen (18) semester credit hours in the subject matter.
  • Ability to work independently in the classroom.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality instruction.
  • Participate in development, implementation, and assessment of curriculum aligned with program and college goals.
  • Attend faculty meetings.
  • Maintain current knowledge in subject areas and higher education trends.
  • Respond to students, faculty and staff promptly and professionally.
  • Comply with campus policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
